SOLVING
CONFLICT CREATIVELY

“We must
become the change we seek”
-Gandhi
What
comes to mind when you think of the word “conflict?”
Most of us think of negative words and experiences when we think of
conflict. The result is that we
often do all we can to avoid conflict. This
is a problem because conflicts are everywhere.
To try to avoid conflicts is kind of like saying you are going to avoid
people. Sadly, those who don’t
know how to handle conflict often end up having their life get smaller and
smaller.

The good news is that there is another way. In the last few decades there has been a large amount of research that demonstrates that people can learn how to deal with conflicts in a positive way. When they do, lots of good things begin to happen. Families feel closer, marriages flourish, and work relationships are more productive. The key is to learn the skills necessary to respond to conflict creatively.
I help
individuals, families and organizations learn how to effectively handle
conflict. I would be happy to talk with you about how I could help you
become better at conflict resolution so that you can achieve your goals.
